潘海东,博士,硕士生导师,副研究员。主要从事潮波动力学研究,开发了潮汐调和分析工具包S_TIDE(被加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学海洋技术系用于课堂演示潮汐调和分析和预报),全球潮汐调和常数数据集GTC以及区域潮汐模拟软件TMM。近年来,围绕潮汐多时间尺度变化和调和分析模型改造开展了系列研究,开发了适用于短期潮汐数据的新型潮汐调和分析模型,基于多源卫星高度计资料探索了海盆尺度潮汐演变规律。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目和国家博士后基金面上项目等国家级项目5项。截止2025年7月,以第一/通讯作者在JGR-oceans,Progress in Oceanography,Ocean Modelling等期刊发表学术论文20余篇,被引用超过1000次,授权发明专利1项。作为团队骨干,入选“自然资源部高层次科技创新人才工程科技创新团队”。担任SCI期刊Frontiers in Marine Science 的副编辑以及Remote Sensing的客座编辑。
