The laboratory is engaged in the researches on marine remote sensing science, information system technology and relevant support techniques and has made great achievements in the studies on SAR detection of shallow underwater topography, SAR detection of internal wave, altimeter data processing and its application, marine airborne hyperspectral remote sensing, remote sensing monitoring of coastal zone, air-sea interface measuring instrument, towed platform for marine environment monitoring, integration and application system software development of marine remote sensing algorithm and theory research and demonstration of marine dynamic information system. Now the laboratory has 12 doctors (32%) and 16 masters (42%).
