The center is mainly engaged in researches on dynamic environment monitoring techniques and simulation experiment for marine engineering and hi-tech application and development of marine acoustics, optics, mechanics and electricity. The center has mighty technological capability for design and engineering experiment of large marine dynamic simulation laboratory, design and development of water treatment engineering and facilities, multi-parameter automatic detecting system and polar support equipment. In recent years, the center has developed many instruments and equipment, such as underwater laser television, underwater fluorometer, underwater suspended sediment detector, automatic underwater topography measuring device, polar clean energy dynamic system, household appliance performance measuring system and ground reception and processing system for HRPT satellite remote sensing data, among them, 7 scientific results were awarded the state, ministry-or province-class science and technology progress prizes, and more than 10 technical patents have been obtained. The center has 20 scientific and technical personnel, including 12 with senior professional title and 6 with intermediate title. |
