陈永奇教授是国际著名的测绘学科学家、教育家，在工程测量、大地测量和海洋测绘等领域取得显著成就。陈永奇教授先后于武汉测绘科技大学（现武汉大学）和香港理工大学任教，桃李遍及海内外。2009年夏天，陈永奇教授将从教届满40周年并于香港理工大学光荣退休。为庆贺陈教授从教40周年和荣休，特举办“测绘科学与技术高端论坛暨陈永奇教授从教40周年庆祝会”。
Professor Chen Yongqi is a great educator and also the world's leading surveying scientist who has achieved remarkable accomplishment in engineering surveying, geodetic surveying and ocean surveying and other fields. He started his teaching career in Wuhan Technology University of Surveying and Mapping (now Wuhan University) and served as a professor in Hong Kong Polytechnic University till now, his students are throughout demostic and abroad. In the summer of 2009, Professor Chen Yongqi will retie from Hong Kong Polytechnic University after his 40 years dedication to the teaching. In order to celebrate this glorious event a special 40th anniversary "Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology Forum for Professor Chen Yongqi" will be hold.

| 海洋一所位于青岛市崂山区仙霞岭路，地理位置优越，环境优美，紧靠青岛市主干路海尔路，毗邻啤酒城，距离石老人海水浴场大概五分钟车程。
FIO(The first institute of oceanography, SOA) is located on Xian Xialing Road which is perpendicular to Haier Road. It is adjacent to the Bear City in the Laoshan District of Qingdao and has a beautiful landscape where the Shilaoren beach is approximately five minutes’ ride distance.
来我所交通方式有以下几种：
（1）从火车站下车后，可直接乘坐501路公交车，在金家岭小区下车，前行50米后，便可看到位于崂山区公安局旁边的海洋一所；或乘坐出租车，沿海边一路前行至麒麟皇冠大酒店后，左转至深圳路前行大约2公里即可到达，乘坐出租车价格为30元左右，夜间价格约40元左右，车程约25分钟左右。
（2）若乘坐飞机，在机场下机后，可乘坐以下两条机场巴士至索菲亚大酒店即终点站下车后，然后乘坐出租车到达（从索菲亚大酒店至一所出租费用约10元）：

1.首末车时间：早7：20---晚18：20，每间隔一小时一班，流水发车；
2.经停站点：青岛机场，海尔路，中韩，北村，辽阳中路，颐中体育馆，会展中心，索菲亚大酒店

To FIO several ways are show as follow:
(1) From the train station: Take the No.501 bus when you are out of the train station, get off at the Jin Jialin residential area stop, the Public Security Bureau will be spotted, and FIO is on its left side only 50 meters. Or you can chose a taxi, the price is around 30 RMB, 40 at night about 25 minutes.
(2) From the air port: Take the airport bus whose terminal stop is the Sofia Hotel, after the arrival then take a taxi from the Sofia Hotel to FIO about 10RMB in 5minutes. Or take a taxi straight from the air port. It will cost you about 80 RMB (including expressway fee) in 30 minutes.
The airport bus are served every hour from 7:20 to 18:20.
